Michal Hanych
Michal is an attorney, tax advisor, and family-office founder based in Prague. He inherited the six-company estate his book describes when his father died unexpectedly in 2024, and has spent the years since rebuilding around it.
The Czech edition, Nepřipravené předání podnikání mezi generacemi, was published in 2025. The expanded English edition, From Father to Nothing, follows in November 2026.
Michal has spent years advising the wealthiest individuals in Czechia on legal and tax matters as the founding partner of smpl_. Personal matters, he learned, are always different.
Education
I do not advise. I teach.
Complicated is our family's office. What I offer other families is education, in three shapes. Each is committed in advance and paid in advance.
